adoption requirements adoption process Ask about this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Ask about this dog now! äNni is a female dog about three months old, who is currently hoping for a new home at the Public Shelter in Baia Mare along with her four siblings Prince Charming, Bonnie, Silly and Juli. She is a particularly sweet and pretty, black-brown girl with a kind look and small floppy ears. Puppies should not have to grow up in a shelter. The loud, stressful and overstimulating environment is especially burdensome for the youngest and can negatively affect their development. In the first few months of life, they need security, safety and positive experiences to grow into healthy, confident dogs. However, the shelter lacks these important impressions and individual affection. That is why it is so important that puppies are able to leave as soon as possible to start their lives in a family - where they can grow up protected, learn, explore and simply be a puppy. Despite her difficult start in life, äNni shows a friendly, curious nature and has everything a young female dog needs to develop into a wonderful companion. She is cheerful, lively and playful and likes people and other dogs very much. äNni is expected to be medium to large. Since she does not yet know life in the house, äNni still has a lot to learn: housebreaking, everyday noises, basic commands and relaxing interaction with people. Loving but consistent training and a lot of practice will support her adjustment. Therefore, we recommend that Bonnie's new people attend a dog training class that works positively, where she can learn the basics of being a well-behaved house dog. Soon she will also enter puberty - an exciting phase in which she tests limits and rediscover her world. Here, understanding and humor are needed, because with loving guidance and consistent training, Bonnie will become a wonderful lifelong companion. For the sweet äNni, we are looking for loving and responsible people who can give her time, patience and security. äNni needs people who enjoy accompanying a young female dog as it grows, supporting it and showing it the world step by step. With the right support, she is hoped to develop into a loyal, balanced family dog. äNni would also be very happy with a loving foster home. If you have fallen in love with the cute äNni and want to offer her a new home and family connection, please contact us. After a positive We would like to thank the godmother Sabine J., who gave äNni her name. Date: 18.04.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 18.04.2026

About äNni

What life with äNni looks like

äNni is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting äNni, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about äNni?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw äNni on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt äNni if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is äNni already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if äNni isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know äNni and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
