Bingo

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 1 year

Bingo was born around April 2022 (approximate estimated date). Breed: mixed. Size: medium (21.5 kg). Neutered: yes. Vaccinated: yes. Microchipped: yes. Arrival at Remember Me Land: April 2024, in foster care with Sofia in the 01 since December 2024. Temperament: okay with dogs and cats. Character: According to his FA: On August 19, 2025: Bingo is doing well, he has made great progress. He gets along with everyone, dogs, cats, big and small. He loves walks, he is tireless, and he is a real catch. May 30, 2025: Everything is going well. Bingo is on fire. I let him out for the first time yesterday on a walk through the fields. He is still marked and panics for no reason sometimes, very suspicious of strangers. But curiosity takes over. He is a real glue. And then, he has the character of a malinois at 200%, he is on springs, tireless, clever. We have a good laugh. February 2025: At home, no problems. He feels safe there, surprisingly he prefers to be inside rather than outside with Axel, it's the grand love. He is clean and knows how to be alone for several hours. For strangers, it's still incredibly complicated. The car is not his thing. And outdoor walks are catastrophic. In the countryside, at peace, no issues, but if there are people, noise, and agitation, it's chaos on board. We continue the work. He has regained a good weight and he is magnificent. January 2025: We started receiving again with the holidays, it was a lot of stress for our Bingo. We took him to our grandmother's, it was also tough… He cried for an hour and ended up lying down. Then a round trip to Alsace to pick up my son, a bundle of nerves in the car, and he vomited, vomited, vomited. Now, he has found his home again, so everything is good. He was spoiled by my son, with lots of toys. He is always in our faces, doesn't like being left alone but doesn't do anything wrong, no more need inside unless there is a big stress (visit, etc.). He had his first bath and no more itching. December 2024: He has adapted to "his" basket and spends the night in my room. For the past three days, we have been letting him cohabitate with Shadow and Anggun, as well as the two cats. No problems. And yesterday, the click, Mr. Bingo came up to my hand to get a cuddle.

About Bingo

What life with Bingo looks like

Bingo is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Remember Me France in France.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bingo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bingo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Remember Me France handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bingo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bingo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Remember Me France will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bingo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bingo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Remember Me France early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bingo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
