It would also be nice if he could be rehomed as a second dog, as he is very oriented towards other dogs. This is not a prerequisite, just a wish. Churchill is not yet house-trained and does not know how to be alone, which would need to be taught to him. He needs clear and loving people who can show him how the outside world works. If you take the necessary time, you will definitely get a great companion for the future. Churchill is curious and is becoming braver day by day, which makes us very happy. He seeks security and closeness with people he knows. With fellow animals, he is very compatible and feels comfortable in their company. The new home should be more quiet and not too hectic, as he is still very insecure with everyday situations. Churchill does not know children, but we could imagine that he could live with them. A visit to a dog training class would certainly be beneficial for him and could make the first steps into everyday life easier.

Schön wäre es auch, wenn er als Zweithund vermittelt werden könnte, da er sich sehr an anderen Hunden orientiert. Das ist aber keine Grundvoraussetzung, nur eine Wunschvorstellung. Stubenrein ist Churchill noch nicht und alleine bleiben kennt er auch nicht, das müsste ihm noch beigebracht werden. Er braucht klare und liebevolle Menschen, die ihm zeigen, wie die Welt da draußen funktioniert. Wenn man sich die nötige Zeit nimmt, bekommt man ganz bestimmt einen ganz tollen Begleiter für die Zukunft. Churchill ist neugierig und wird von Tag zu Tag mutiger, was uns sehr freut. Er sucht bei Menschen, die er kennt, Sicherheit und Nähe. Mit Artgenossen ist er sehr gut verträglich und fühlt sich in deren Gesellschaft wohl. Das neue Zuhause sollte eher ruhig und nicht allzu hektisch sein, da er noch sehr unsicher mit alltäglichen Situationen ist. Kinder kennt Churchill nicht, wir könnten uns aber vorstellen, dass er mit diesen zusammenleben könnte. Der Besuch in einer Hundeschule wäre für ihn bestimmt von Vorteil und könnte ihm die ersten Schritte in den Alltag erleichtern.
