Conde

Belgian Malinois · Male

Conde ID No.: 1047794 Breed: Malinois Age: approx. 12/2019 Gender: male Shoulder height: approx. 60 cm Neutered: Yes Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Conde – a gentle soul waiting to finally be seen Conde (* approx. 12/2019, approx. 60 cm) is a very sweet and gentle male dog who unfortunately remains completely unnoticeable and invisible amid the noisy daily bustle of the shelter. He was surrendered by his owner for personal reasons to our Spanish partner shelter Triple A in Marbella. Upon arrival, he was in a heartbreaking condition—severely underweight and clearly poorly cared for. Thanks to proper nutrition and loving care, he has now recovered well physically. What makes Conde so special is his calm temperament. He is not a typical high-energy Malinois who needs to run twenty kilometers daily or work as a police dog. Instead, he has wonderfully balanced energy. Conde is initially somewhat reserved and needs a little time to build trust. Once he does, he actively seeks closeness with his person and enjoys every bit of affection. He loves rolling around and zooming joyfully in our outdoor exercise pens. On outings outside the shelter, he also shows his fantastic side—walking through town completely unfazed and confidently passing cyclists, joggers, and other dogs. He gets along with fellow animals based on mutual sympathy; at the shelter, he currently shares his kennel harmoniously with another Malinois male dog. We hope Conde finds a home where he’s given exactly the time he needs to settle in peacefully and build deep trust. He should have the opportunity to gradually become familiar with unfamiliar sounds, objects, and new situations, step by step.

About Conde

What life with Conde looks like

Conde is a adult belgian malinois dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Conde, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Conde?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Conde on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Conde if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Conde already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Conde isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Conde and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
