Loneliness. The fight for survival. Popioł was hit by a car. He took a long time to recover and that's how he ended up at the animal shelter. The accident left a permanent mark, his eye will probably never look normal again. 🥹 And maybe that's why he's often overlooked. Because he's black. Because he's not a small kitten. Because he's about 6 years old. Because he doesn't look "perfect."😞 But Popioł still trusts humans. Despite his fear, he still allows himself to be petted. Despite everything, he still searches for warmth and closeness. He doesn't react with aggression. He just needs a quiet home and a little patience. And when he finally feels safe, he buries himself in a hand and purrs so softly, as if he's afraid he doesn't deserve it. Samotność. Walka o przetrwanie. Popiół został potrącony przez samochód. Długo dochodził do siebie i właśnie tak trafił do schroniska. Wypadek zostawił ślad na zawsze, jego oczko prawdopodobnie już nigdy nie będzie wyglądało normalnie.🥺 I może właśnie dlatego tak często zostaje niezauważony. Bo jest czarny.
