Dinky is een knappe zwart-witte kater van ongeveer 2 jaar oud. Hij is bij ons terechtgekomen nadat er afstand van hem is gedaan. Dinky leefde samen met meerdere andere katten, maar helaas bleek dat niet langer de juiste situatie voor hem en voor de andere katten te zijn. Nu is hij klaar om op zoek te gaan naar een thuis waar hij alle aandacht krijgt die hij verdient. Toen Dinky bij ons binnenkwam, vond hij alle veranderingen behoorlijk spannend. Een nieuwe omgeving, onbekende mensen en een heel ander ritme zorgden ervoor dat hij zich in eerste instantie wat terughoudend opstelde. Gelukkig zien we inmiddels steeds meer van zijn echte karakter tevoorschijn komen. Onder die voorzichtige buitenkant schuilt namelijk een ontzettend lieve en zachtaardige jongen. Zodra Dinky merkt dat je geen kwaad in de zin hebt en hem rustig benadert, komt hij graag een kijkje nemen. Het vertrouwen moet even groeien, maar als dat eenmaal gebeurd is, heb je een ontzettend gezellige jongen aan hem. Dinky is daarnaast dol op eten. Een lekker hapje is voor hem vaak de perfecte manier om het ijs te breken en nieuwe situaties nét wat minder spannend te maken. Ook is hij een nieuwsgierige kater die graag op onderzoek uitgaat. Wanneer hij zich ergens thuis voelt, vindt hij het heerlijk om zijn omgeving te verkennen en betrokken te zijn bij alles wat er om hem heen gebeurt. Voor Dinky zoeken we een rustig huishouden waar hij de tijd krijgt om te wennen. Het liefst plaatsen we hem bij één of twee volwassenen die ervaring hebben met katten en begrijpen dat vertrouwen soms even moet groeien. Omdat hij uit een situatie met meerdere katten komt en veel veranderingen heeft meegemaakt, denken wij dat hij nu het beste tot zijn recht komt als enige huisdier. Ook kinderen passen op dit moment niet bij wat Dinky nodig heeft. Een woning met een tuin zou voor hem ideaal zijn. Na een rustige wenperiode zal hij het ongetwijfeld heerlijk vinden om af en toe een frisse neus te halen en zijn omgeving verder te ontdekken. Dinky is een lieve jongen die op zoek is naar rust, stabiliteit en iemand die hem de kans geeft om helemaal zichzelf te zijn.
