Harry

Belgian Malinois · Male · Young · 1 year

Harry ID No.: 1047756 Breed: Malinois-German Shepherd mix Age: *approx. 12/2025 Sex: male Shoulder height: still growing Neutered/Spayed: No Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Harry – cuddly and clingy – loves ball games Here come Max, Sammy, Harry, Poppy, and Roxy! This sweet litter – two boys (Max and Harry) and three girls (Sammy, Poppy, and Roxy) – was surrendered to our partner shelter TripleA in Marbella in early February at just a few weeks old, severely underweight, frightened, and some with wounds. They were apparently found in the trash – a sad fate shared by many unwanted puppies. Fortunately, a loving and highly experienced foster home was quickly found for this lively little group, where they are now learning lots and being prepared for life with their own families. Max, Sammy, Harry, Poppy, and Roxy are strikingly beautiful Malinois-German Shepherd mixes; some display more classic German Shepherd traits, while others show the spirited characteristics of a Malinois. Their unique personalities are becoming increasingly evident. All five absolutely love cuddling and, as typical puppies, are playful—but of course, one mustn't forget that due to their breed background, they are energetic working dogs who need appropriate mental and physical stimulation and purpose. Harry is the most cuddly and affectionate of the entire litter. This little guy would rather cuddle all day than play. Although he’s the largest pup in his litter and has a healthy appetite, he’s surprisingly calm and respectful. He absolutely adores ball games and already brings the ball back when retrieving! Harry is a very loving little boy who longs above all else for a lap to snuggle into. This sweet quintet is now ready for their forever homes. Since they were born around late December 2025, they can travel from late April onward. For the people-oriented Harry, we’re looking for a loving home with people who understand that a puppy needs time, training, closeness, and consistent guidance. We hope to find an active family—ideally with prior experience with this breed—who will provide Harry with both physical and mental enrichment and who wants to explore the world together with him and share many adventures. Could you be that person? Then we’d be delighted to hear from you. Harry will travel vaccinated, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport. At the time of travel arrangements, he will be dewormed prophylactically and treated for fleas. Our puppies are rehomed exclusively under a spay/neuter agreement. Impfungen Ja Mittelmeercheck Nein Microchip Ja Krankheiten keine bekannt Anlagehund Nein Schutzgebühr 500 € inkl. About Harry

What life with Harry looks like

Harry is a small young adult belgian malinois dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Harry, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Harry?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Harry on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Harry if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Harry already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Harry isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Harry and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
