Jerry was found on Hlinková street in Košice. He had a chip, and after contacting the family, it was agreed that he would stay in the shelter - the original owner was unable to take care of him for a long time and Jerry repeatedly ran away from him. Jerry is a young, active and playful dog who loves movement and enjoys running and chase games with his dog friends in the exercise run. He is lively, curious and needs an opportunity to burn off his energy. He is somewhat reserved but friendly towards people - he will be happy to make contact, come to greet, but does not require constant attention. He is a dog who can function independently, but will definitely open up more with the right relationship and guidance. He gets along well with female dog. He gets along with dogs according to his preferences - he is currently in the kennel run with several dogs and they all work together without conflicts. We have not yet noticed that Jerry seeks conflicts or intentionally starts them. When playing with other dogs, he still isn't always able to completely "read" and express his emotions, which is something that can be worked on gradually with proper guidance and socialization. He still pulls on the leash, but this is something that can be worked on nicely. He has good hygiene habits with regular walks. Handling him is trouble-free, he was calm even during a veterinary examination. Jerry is looking for a home with people who will give him enough exercise, clear boundaries, and a patient approach. He is better suited for more active people who will work with him and help him understand the world around him better. He is looking for a home in an apartment or house with full access to the yard.

Jerry sa našiel na ulici Hlinková v Košiciach. Mal čip, a po kontaktovaní rodiny bolo dohodnuté jeho ponechanie v útulku – pôvodný majiteľ sa o neho dlhodobo nedokázal postarať a Jerry mu opakovane utekal. Jerry je mladý, aktívny a hravý psík, ktorý má rád pohyb a vo výbehu si užíva behanie aj naháňačky so psími kamarátmi. Je živý, zvedavý a potrebuje možnosť vybiť svoju energiu. K ľuďom je skôr mierne rezervovaný, no priateľský – poteší sa kontaktu, príde sa pozdraviť, no nevyžaduje neustálu pozornosť. Je to psík, ktorý si vie fungovať aj samostatnejšie, no pri správnom vzťahu a vedení sa určite ešte viac otvorí. So sučkami vychádza bez problémov. So psami vychádza podľa sympatií – aktuálne je v koterci s viacerými psami a fungujú spolu bez konfliktov. Zatiaľ sme si nevšimli, že by Jerry vyhľadával konflikty alebo ich cielene začínal. Pri hrách s inými psami ešte nie vždy vie úplne presne „čítať“ a vyjadriť svoje emócie, čo je vec, na ktorej sa dá postupne pracovať správnym vedením a socializáciou. Na vodítku zatiaľ ťahá, čo je však vec, na ktorej sa dá pekne pracovať. Hygienické návyky má pri pravidelnom venčení. Manipulácia je s ním bezproblémová, pokojný bol aj pri veterinárnom ošetrení. Jerry si hľadá domov u ľudí, ktorí mu doprajú dostatok pohybu, jasné hranice a trpezlivý prístup. Hodí sa skôr k aktívnejším ľuďom, ktorí budú s ním pracovať a pomôžu mu lepšie porozumieť svetu okolo seba. Domov si hľadá v byte alebo dome s úplným prístupom dnu.
