Quirky cuddle bug Date of birth: February 2025 Dog-friendly: yes Children in the same household: possible from school age onward Home sought: on the outskirts of town or in the countryside The affectionate mixed-breed female dog Laki, born in 2025, is people-friendly and can be placed with children from school age onward; however, she initially shows some uncertainty around men. This sweet female dog rides calmly in the car and gets along well with other dogs. Laki previously lived in a house with a garden together with a cat—if she is to share her new home with a cat as well, sufficient time must be planned for initial separation and gradual acclimatization, as Laki does exhibit prey drive. Additionally, though being left alone was not an issue in her previous home, this skill will need to be gently refreshed in her new home with ample time and patience, as she becomes highly stressed when left alone in our kennel and carries this stressful experience “in her backpack” into her new home. This cuddly companion is familiar with a harness, walks nicely on a leash, and has also proven herself quite the “water rat” here with us. We are looking for a home for Laki on the outskirts of town or in the countryside.

Die liebe Hündin fährt brav im Auto mit und ist hundeverträglich. Laki hat in Haus mit Garten gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einer Katze – sollte sie dies in ihrem neuen Zuhause ebenfalls tun, ist ausreichend Zeit für anfängliche Trennung und Gewöhnung einzuplanen, da Laki durchaus Jagdverhalten zeigt. Auch das Alleine-bleiben, das in ihrem letzten Zuhause kein Problem war, muss im neuen Zuhause mit ausreichend Zeit aufgefrischt werden, da sie bei uns im Zwinger alleine sehr gestresst ist und diese stressige Erfahrung „im Rucksack“ in ihr neues Zuhause mitnimmt. Die Kuschelmaus kennt Brustgeschirr und geht brav an der Leine und zeigt sich bei uns auch als „Wasserratte“. Für Laki suchen wir ein Zuhause am Stadtrand oder Land.“
