Noa

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Puppy Noa wishes for a family connection! Noa is eagerly waiting in our Spanish partner shelter for her heart people. She is a friendly, open, and lovable puppy. With Noa, a magical puppy soul will take residence in the hearts of her people. The animal shelter should not be a one-way street for the sweet Noa. For a happy puppy life, much more is needed than what the shelter can provide. Noa wants to get to know the world outside the animal shelter and be allowed to conquer it. The puppy wants to develop and unfold in a family setting. Noa is social with her fellow animals. We are looking for a loving home for Noa. This home should allow Noa to settle in in peace. Noa will likely have many areas of life where she still needs to catch up, and she will depend on the positive support and guidance of HER people. The young female dog wants to be kept busy and nurtured. She wishes for a family that would like to do many things together with her. It would be nice if a puppy buddy for Noa was already waiting in her future home. Adopting an animal shelter dog always means taking on a special responsibility and can also be a challenge. The dogs bring a backpack of past experiences or unlearned situations with them and need time to adjust to their new lives. If you have serious interest in adopting Noa, please contact the responsible mediator at SALVA Hundehilfe. We would also be very happy about the provision of a foster home. The contact details can be found further below. Here it goes to the videos of Noa:

About Noa

What life with Noa looks like

Noa is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
