Otto e 1/2

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

General Information: A beautiful gray certosino large cat. Vaccinated and microchipped. FIV and FeLV tested negative. Character: Otto e 1/2 is a beautiful large cat, extra-large size. He is very affectionate but likes to maintain a bit of independence. He loves to explore his surroundings and especially enjoys having an outdoor space to move around freely. Ideal Adoption: For this large cat, we are looking for a quiet family environment with people who have time for care and play. Suitable for families with children, provided they are respectful. Recommended to have a protected garden where he can go out later, after a period of being strictly indoors to acclimate and learn his surroundings. For cats that go outside, we recommend using a safety collar with a breakaway mechanism and an identification tag or similar. Available for adoption only in the province of Monza and Brianza and in the nearby communes. Background: Monza (MB)

Generalità: Bellissimo gattone grigio certosino. Vaccinato e microchippato. Provenienza: Monza (MB)

About Otto e 1/2

What life with Otto e 1/2 looks like

Otto e 1/2 is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Otto e 1/2, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Otto e 1/2?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Otto e 1/2 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Otto e 1/2 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Otto e 1/2 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Otto e 1/2 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Otto e 1/2 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
