Über Ovidias Vergangenheit wissen wir leider nichts. Wir wissen nicht, wo sie früher gelebt hat und was sie in ihrem bisherigen Leben alles erleben musste. Sicher ist nur, dass sie nun auf der Suche nach Menschen ist, die ihr einen neuen Start ermöglichen. Ovidia ist neun Jahre alt und bringt dennoch erstaunlich viel Energie mit. Für ihr Alter ist sie aktiv, interessiert und gerne in Bewegung. Mit ihren ca. 25 kg gehört sie zu den mittelgroßen Hündinnen. Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie sich sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Sie genießt Aufmerksamkeit und sucht den Kontakt. Mit anderen Hunden hat Ovidia eine eher dominante Persönlichkeit. Sie übernimmt gerne die Führung und zeigt klar, wenn ihr etwas nicht passt. Dabei ist sie nicht aggressiv, sondern kommuniziert deutlich. In einem Zuhause könnte sie gut als Einzelhund leben oder mit einem souveränen, passenden Hund zusammengeführt werden. Katzen gehören nicht zu ihren Freunden und sollten nicht im neuen Zuhause leben. Im Shelter leidet Ovidia darunter, alleine im Zwinger zu sein. Sie bellt dort viel, weil ihr der enge Raum und die fehlende Nähe zu Menschen zusetzen. Ovidia ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt einen EU Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
