Parzival

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Parzival ID-Nr: 1053709 Breed: mixed breed Age: ca.02/2026 Gender: male Neutered/Spayed: No Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry Form Parzival – a smaller adventurer with a big heart Parzival (ca. 02/2026) currently lives in our partner shelter Triple A Marbella in Spain and is waiting there for his family. Together with his six siblings, he was dropped off in a box. The puppies were well-fed and cared for, so we assume they were recently separated from their mother. Little is known about their origin, but it is likely that different breeds like Bodeguero and Podenco are mixed in them. Parzival is a cheerful, lively little puppy boy full of energy. With his curious nature, he would like to be everywhere at once and not miss any adventure. At the same time, he also enjoys every form of attention and affection and is happy with every pat. Like all young dogs, Parzival still has a lot to learn. His future family should therefore be happy to guide him through the exciting puppy phase with patience and love. With the right people by his side, he can develop into a wonderful family dog. For Parzival, we wish for a home with enough time for a young dog. It would be especially nice if there is already a well-socialized dog present that he can look up to. If he lives as a single dog, it is important that he has regular contact with fellow animals and does not have to be alone for long. Parzival is looking for people who want to explore the world with him and give him the security, safety, and love that every puppy deserves. Parzival is vaccinated, microchipped, and has an EU pet passport. For travel arrangements, he is dewormed and treated for fleas. Vaccinations: Yes Mediterranean check: No Microchip: Yes Illnesses: None known Boarding dog: No including transport Contact: Annika Beger Tel: Email:. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

About Parzival

What life with Parzival looks like

Parzival is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Parzival, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Parzival?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Parzival on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Parzival if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Parzival already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Parzival isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Parzival and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
