Found completely exhausted, undernourished, and infested with parasites in an industrial area, Pomelo proved what a fighter he is! At the shelter, he was lovingly revived and has now fully recovered. Now he is ready to leave the shadows of the past behind. Although a hunting dog is in Pomelo, it seems he was never trained for hunting. He shows no hunting ambitions so far. Instead, he excels in typical hunting dog qualities that make him the perfect companion: he is extremely people-oriented, compatible with other dogs, and considered absolutely child-friendly. Pomelo is a soul of a dog. As soon as someone approaches his kennel, he can hardly wait to say "hello." He greets everyone joyfully and longs for even the smallest caress. He just wants to belong. Er wurde völlig entkräftet, unterernährt und von Parasiten geplagt in einem Industriegebiet gefunden. Doch Pomelo hat bewiesen, was für ein Kämpfer in ihm steckt! Im Refugium wurde er liebevoll aufgepäppelt und hat sich mittlerweile vollständig erholt. Jetzt ist er bereit, die Schatten der Vergangenheit hinter sich zu lassen. Obwohl in Pomelo ein Jagdhund steckt, scheint er nie für die Jagd ausgebildet worden zu sein. Er zeigt bisher keinerlei Jagdambitionen. Stattdessen punktet er mit den typischen Jagdhund-Qualitäten, die ihn zum perfekten Begleiter machen: Er ist extrem menschenbezogen, verträglich mit anderen Hunden und gilt als absolut kinderlieb.
