She mostly sits in her corner or on her dog bed and hides. If you approach her, you have to do so with great calmness; any quick and jittery movements will startle her. We have gotten her used to wearing a muzzle because she would bite out of fear. Currently, she goes along well on the leash. Reika gets along well with other animals; she comes out of her shell and even plays sometimes. As a second or third dog, she would be a good fit. The new home should be quiet without small children. The property must be escape-proof, and Reika should also only stay on the lead in the garden.

Sie sitzt überwiegend in ihrer Ecke oder in ihrem Körbchen und versteckt sich. Wenn man sich ihr nähert, muss man das mit ganz viel Ruhe machen, zu hektische und schnelle Bewegungen lassen sie aufschrecken. Wir haben sie an den Maulkorb gewöhnt, weil sie aus Angst auch beißen würde. Mittlerweile geht sie super an der Leine. Reika ist mit Artgenossen gut verträglich, da kommt sie aus sich heraus und spielt auch mal. Als Zweit- oder Dritthund wäre sie also gut geeignet.Das neue Zuhause sollte ruhig sein, ohne kleine Kinder. Das Grundstück muss unbedingt ausbruchsicher sein und Reika sollte auch im Garten nur an der Schleppleine bleiben.
