Rózi

Husky · Female · Adult · 6 years

Rózit, a Borsod county, came from one of the disadvantaged settlements. Her life wasn't about aimless walks, a pure shelter, and the loving caresses. Yet, she preserved her dear nature, and now she is ready to finally experience what it's like when someone truly sees her as a family member. 6-year-old female dog, who might be a bit wary during their first meeting. However, this is not surprising, given that she hasn't received much goodness from humans so far. Time is needed for her to open up, but once she realizes she is safe, she blossoms beautifully and shows her loving, clingy side. She has already left behind the innocence of puppyhood. A calmer, more balanced companion who values reliability, patience, and human closeness. She is grateful for every moment of attention. Now, all that's missing from her life is a loving home. Someone who understands that trust must be earned. Someone who doesn't look at her background but sees the potential of a wonderful dog in a loving home. If you feel there's a place in your heart and home for her, reach out to us! Rózi lives in Tatabányán.

HU·Show original

Minden nap hálás azért a figyelemért, amit kap.

About Rózi

What life with Rózi looks like

Rózi is a adult husky dog waiting at description in Hungary.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rózi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rózi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. description handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rózi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rózi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — description will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rózi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rózi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with description early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rózi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
