Ihre Geschichte: Tamani konnte Mitte September in ihre Pflegestelle reisen – ein großes Glück für die junge Hündin. Das Leben im tristen Zwinger, gemeinsam mit ihrem Bruder, war für sie traurig und entmutigend. Tamani ist eine mittelgroße, schäferhundähnliche Hündin mit einem sensiblen Wesen. Anfangs zeigte sie sich schüchtern und vorsichtig und brauchte Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Doch jetzt ist die junge Tamani wie ausgewechselt. Aus einer sehr schüchternen Hündin wurde ein aufgeweckter Wirbelwind. Denn hat man ihr Herz erst einmal gewonnen, zeigt sie sich als liebevolle und verschmuste Begleiterin, die Nähe und Zuneigung sehr genießt und mit ihrem Hundekumpel ausgelassen im Garten tobt. Wie ihr Bruder Quincy hatte auch Tamani Schwierigkeiten im Umgang mit neuen Menschen sowie beim Spazierengehen und der Stubenreinheit. Hier könnte es sein, dass sie in einer neuen Umgebung wieder einen kleinen Rückschritt macht. Sie sucht daher erfahrene und geduldige Menschen, die ihr mit Ruhe, Verständnis und liebevoller Konsequenz zeigen wie schön das Hundeleben sein kann. Nach einer gewissen Eingewöhnungszeit könnte auch der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule hilfreich sein, um gemeinsam zu wachsen und Vertrauen aufzubauen. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Tamani gut. Allerdings sollten es Hunde in ihrer Größe sein, damit beim ausgelassenen Spielen ein Gleichgewicht besteht. Denn Tamani wird von ihrem Pflegeherrchen liebevoll „Tsunami“ genannt. Tamani ist aktuell etwa 9 Monate alt, 56 cm groß und wiegt rund 34 kg. Viel wachsen wird sie vermutlich nicht mehr.
