FOREST – UPDATE 12/2025 - VIDEO Forest – male dog, neutered, born ca. 2023, shoulder height ca. 55 cm, in animal shelter Belchatow since 02.09.2024. The slender male dog goes very well on the leash. He is young and yet already in the animal shelter. Playful, curious, and simply loving. He has so many good qualities, yet his owners wanted to get rid of him. He sits down for us so we can pet him and he likes all people. He shares his full-sized pen with male dogs and female dogs. (10/2024 MI/AX) Update 04/2025: We have recorded a short video of this male dog, showing how he lives in his small pen with other dogs. (MI/TB) Update 12/2025: L t. animal shelter Belchatow was informed that Forest had been thrown out of a car at a busy street. He hid at the edge of a forest. Eventually, he approached the only house there. The woman there fed Forest and reported him to the animal shelter. There, they could not understand how one could simply get rid of a dog so attuned to humans. Forest does everything to make it right for his people. He obeys very well and is not distracted during walks. It is sad that this dog so fixated on people must already be over 1 year in the cramped animal shelter pen. He desperately needs a home. FOREST – UPDATE 12/2025 - VIDEO Forest – Rüde, kastriert, geboren ca. 2023, Schulterhöhe ca. 55 cm, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 02.09.2024. Der schlanke Rüde geht sehr gut an der Leine. Er ist jung und trotzdem schon im Tierheim. Verspielt, neugierig und einfach nur lieb. Er hat so viele gute Eigenschaften, trotzdem wollten seine Besitzer ihn loswerden. Er setzt sich bei uns hin, damit wir ihn kraulen können, mag alle Menschen. Seinen vollen Zwinger teilt er sich mit Rüden und Hündinnen. (10/2024 MI/AX) Update 04/2025: Wir haben ein kurzes Video von diesem Rüden aufgenommen, das zeigt, wie er in seinem kleinen Zwinger zusammen mit anderen Hunden lebt. (MI/TB) Update 12/2025: L t. Tierheim wurde Forest offensichtlich an einer viel befahrenen Straße aus dem Auto geworfen. Er versteckte sich am Rand eines Waldes. Irgendwann näherte er sich dem einzigen Haus, das dort stand. Die Frau dort fütterte Forest und meldete ihn dem Tierheim. Dort verstand man überhaupt nicht, wie man einen so menschenbezogenen Hund einfach wegschmeißen kann. Forest tut alles um es seinen Menschen Recht zu machen. Er gehorcht sehr gut, lässt sich auch beim Spazierengehen von nichts ablenken. Es ist traurig, dass dieser so sehr auf Menschen fixierte Hund jetzt schon über 1 Jahr im engen Tierheimzwinger leben muss. Er braucht so dringend ein Zuhause.
