Hun namen zijn geïnspireerd op de Japanse filosofie wabi-sabi: het vermogen om schoonheid te zien in het eenvoudige, het onvolmaakte en het unieke. Net als hun naamgenoten zijn Wabi en Sabi geen perfecte plaatjes uit een reclamefolder. Ze hebben hun eigen verhaal, hun eigen persoonlijkheid en hun eigen zachte en bijzondere manier om je hart te veroveren. Wabi (wit) geniet van de kleine dingen: een warm plekje in de zon, een rustig aaitje en het tevreden spinnen aan je zijde. Zij heeft tijd nodig om te wennen en haar mensen te leren kennen.
