Yuna

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years

Yuna is a small, delicate white female dog that was found alone and vulnerable with her puppies on the streets. No one knows how long she had been on the road or what she had endured, but her gentle soul shows that despite everything, she has not lost her trust in people. Today, she lives in a foster home in Turkey, where she is slowly recovering and finding peace. Yuna is by nature rather reserved. She does not push herself forward but instead observes in peace, watching who is there and how the situation develops. Once she has gained trust, she shows an incredibly loving and touching side: gentle, cautious, clingy, and full of gratitude. She does not seek chaos or a loud environment but rather a quiet, stable home where she can feel safe. At her foster home, Yuna displays an exceptionally friendly behavior, both to people and to other dogs. Her delicate, peaceful nature makes her an ideal companion for seniors or people who want a quiet, loving dog. She is uncomplicated, does not have high expectations, and is happy with any small attention given to her. Yuna does not need much to be happy: a warm bed, regular walks, loving words, and people who approach her with patience. She is looking for a home where she can build trust without pressure and at her own pace. A place where she feels that she is finally wanted and loved. Whoever adopts Yuna will get a delicate female dog with a big heart, a companion that quietly but deeply sneaks into the hearts of her people. She is waiting for someone to see her and give her the chance she so desperately deserves. If you would like to know more about our lovely Yuna, feel free to contact us and tell us a little about your living situation and how Yuna would fit into your home. Yuna can hardly wait to finally become a part of a loving family. Yuna is approximately 2-3 years old, neutered, microchipped, regularly dewormed, and fully vaccinated. She will be ready to travel from July. Contact:

DE·Show original

Kontakt:

About Yuna

What life with Yuna looks like

Yuna is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe Antalya in Ansbach.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yuna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yuna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe Antalya handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yuna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yuna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe Antalya will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yuna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yuna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe Antalya early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yuna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
