Gio llegó al refugio con su pequeño amigo Gojo, ambos sin microchips y sin humanos. Fueron encontrados en la calle y nadie volvió a buscarlos. Los perros no caen de Marte y ninguno de ellos estaba en mal estado físico, por lo tanto deben haber venido de algún tipo de hogar. De cualquier manera, el amigo de Gio, Gojo, ya está reservado para adopción, pero Gio aún busca una familia..... Gio es un chico alegre que solo necesita unos momentos con nuevas personas para conocerlas, antes de mostrar su lado tierno. Pero una vez que conoce un poco a alguien y ve que estás allí para amarlo, sus ojos se iluminan y se convierte en un gato que ronronea, poniendo su cabeza junto a tu lado, bajo tu brazo, para recibir atención y cercanía. De los dos, Gojo es el chico divertido y corredor, mientras que Gio es más equilibrado y estable, pero en realidad es solo un joven que quiere ser juguetón y libre en un entorno seguro y seguro. El primer mes en el refugio fue muy difícil para Gio, se sentía inseguro alrededor de todos los perros ladrando y no tenía la confianza para manejar a los perros dominantes que pasaban junto a él, por lo tanto ladraba y tiraba de la correa. Ahora es más confiado y se ha adaptado mejor a la vida en el refugio, por lo tanto maneja a otros perros "amenazantes" de manera más tranquila, sabiendo ahora que puede confiar en los humanos para cuidarlo. A Gio realmente le gustan otros perros, pero creemos que simplemente no se sentía seguro. Gio busca un hogar seguro e comprensivo, donde pueda tomar su tiempo al principio para sentirse seguro y cuidado: una familia que entienda que probablemente no venga a besarte en la primera cita, pero quizás puedas robar un beso en la segunda cita. Preferiríamos un hogar sin niños pequeños para Gio, para su paz y tranquilidad. La altura de hombro de Gio es aproximadamente 66 cm.

Gio arrived to the shelter with his smaller young friend Gojo, both of them without microchips, without humans. They were found on the street and noone ever came looking for them again. Dogs don't fall from Mars, and neither of them was in a bad physical state either, so they must have come from some sort of a home. Either way, Gio's friend Gojo is already reserved for adoption, but Gio is still looking for a family..... Gio is cheerful boy, who just needs a few moments with new people, to get to know them, before he let's his soft side show. But once he knows you a bit and sees you are there to love him, his eyes light up, and he turns into a purring cat, putting his head on your side, under your arm, for attention and closeness. From the two of them Gojo is the running goofy guy, and Gio is more balanced and steady, but actually he is just a young boy, who wants to be playful and free, in a safe and secure environment. The first month in the shelter was very hard for Gio, he was feeling insecure around all the barking dogs, and did not have the confidence to handle dominant dogs passing him, so he was barking and pulling on the leash. Now he is more self-confident and more settled into the shelter life, so he is handling passing other "threatening" dogs in a calmer manner, knowing now that he can trust the humans to take care of him. Gio actually likes other dogs, but we believe he just did not feel safe. Gio is looking for a safe and understanding home, where he can take his time at first for feeling secure and taken care of - a family who will understand that he probably won't come and kiss you on the first date, but you can probably already steal a kiss on the second date! We would prefer a home without small children for Gio, for his peace and quiet. Gio's shoulder height is approximately 66cm.
