ACTUALIZACIÓN: Sky está actualmente en acogida en Essex. Sky es una chica muy bonita pero aún es nerviosa y necesita un hogar amable y paciente para ayudarla a mejorar su confianza y sacarla de su caparazón. Actualmente vive con otros perros residentes y se lleva bien con ellos, aunque puede ser nerviosa al principio. Tiene miedo a las personas y se beneficiaría de tener un perro amigable en el hogar a largo plazo que le enseñe las normas. Elige sus propios espacios seguros en la casa y está aprendiendo gradualmente a confiar. Sky es un Setter Inglés de 5 años, fecha de nacimiento 02.09.20. Fue entregada al refugio por su cazador, quien ya no podía cuidarla. La pobre chica llegó muy nerviosa con muchas inseguridades, ha tomado el cambio al refugio bastante mal, pero está permitiendo lentamente que la gente la acaricie. Con el tiempo y un adoptante paciente, mejorará y dejará que su verdadero carácter maravilloso brille. Lamentablemente, los refugios son difíciles para perros como Sky. Aunque mejoran con el tiempo, es un proceso lento comparado con estar en un hogar con una familia que pueda guiarla a través de la vida y mostrarle que las cosas no tienen por qué ser tan aterradoras.

UPDATE: Sky is currently in foster in Essex. Sky is a beautiful girl but is still nervous and needs a kind and patient home to help improve her confidence and bring her out of her shell. She is currently living with other resident dogs and getting on well with them, although she can be nervous at first. She is nervous of people and will benefit from a friendly resident dog in a home long term to help show her the ropes. She picks her own safe spaces in the home and is gradually learning to trust Sky is a 5 year old English Setter, DOB 02.09.20 Sky was given to the shelter by her hunter who could no longer look after her. The poor girl arrived very nervous with a lot of insecurities, she has taken the move to the shelter quite badly but is slowly allowing people to stroke her. In time and with a patient adopter, she will improve and let her true wonderful character shine though. Sadly, shelters are tough for dogs like Sky. Although they improve over time, it’s a slow process compared to being in a home with a family who can guide her through life and show her things don’t have to be so scary.
