¡Hola! Mi nombre es Rex, también conocido como Mr Tall Dark and Handsome!!!! Aunque tengo 2 años de edad, creo que soy más bien un gran cachorro, ya que antes de venir al centro no había salido de mi casa o jardín, y aunque me querían mucho, no había visto nada del mundo grande y amplio. Así que mis amigos aquí en el centro ahora me están ayudando a experimentar lo que la vida tiene para ofrecer y me encanta!! Dicen que estoy haciendo muy bien y están muy impresionados con mi progreso en tan poco tiempo - Me encanta escuchar que soy un "Buen Chico". Me encantan mis caminatas donde puedo olfatear y explorar, ya que todo es nuevo y emocionante para mí. Necesitaré trabajar en mi paseo con correa, ya que puedo ser un poco tirón, especialmente cuando veo a otro perro, pero eso es normal viendo que nunca he llevado un collar, arnés o correa antes, tengo momentos en los que camino muy bien, lo cual ha sido muy feliz para el personal. Soy un poco más seguro alrededor de las personas femeninas, pero no tardará en ser amigo de cualquiera - ya que soy el perro más amigable y tierno que conocerás. De hecho, creo que estaba destinado a ser un pequeño perro de cama, ya que amo intentar sentarme en ti o al menos apoyar mis patas en ti en todo momento, así que prepárate para ser amado mucho por mí. Cuando estoy sin correa, tiendo a quedarme cerca de mi cuidador, y aún no estoy muy seguro de cómo jugar, pero llegaré allí. El cariño y atención son mis cosas favoritas, más que la comida realmente, así que no sería adecuado para una casa donde tenga que estar solo durante largos períodos. No he vivido con niños antes, pero quizás niños mayores que no se preocupen por mi tamaño y tendencia a saltar serían adecuados para mí, disculpa, no soy adecuado para gatos, y otros perros tendrían que evaluarse caso por caso, ya que en este momento estoy trabajando en mi reactividad. Hello there, my name is Rex aka Mr Tall Dark and Handsome!!!!Although I am 2 years of age I would say I'm more like a big puppy dog, as prior to coming in to the centre I hadn't been outside of my home or garden, and even though I was loved very much I hadn't seen anything of the big wide world.So my friends here at the centre are now helping me to experience what life has to offer and I am loving it!! They say I am doing fantastically well and are so impressed with my progress in such a short space of time - I love hearing that I am a "Good Boy".I am loving my walks where I can sniff and explore as everything is just so new and exciting for me. I will need to work on my lead walking as can get a bit pully especially when I see another dog, but that's only to be expected seeing as I have never worn a collar, harness or lead before, I do have times of walking beautifully which the staff have been so happy with.I am a bit more confident around female handlers but it wont take long for me to be anybody's best friend - as I am just the friendliest, most soppy big dog you will meet. In fact, I think I was meant to be a small lap dog as I love trying to sit on you or at least rest my paws on you at all times, so prepare to be loved lots by me!When I am off lead I tend to stay close by to my handler, and I'm not really sure on how to play just yet, but I will get there. Fuss and attention are my favourite things, more so than food actually, so I won't really suit a home where I will have to be left for very long periods.I haven't lived with children before but perhaps older children who wont be worried by my size and tendency to jump up would be okay for me, sorry I'm not suitable for cats, and other dogs would have to be assessed on a case by case basis as at the moment I am working on my reactivity.I am a beautiful young dog who really deserves a fantastic home to match my fabulous nature, so I've got all my paws crossed xx NAWT Cornwall Wheal Alfred Kennels Wheal Alfred Road Hayle Cornwall TR27 5JT Choose an item from our Amazon wish-list and it will come straight to us!
