Ajtor does not wait at the animal shelter but in a small private station in Hungary. There, a private animal rescuer takes care of her charges – as well as the resources allow. However, her health issues are now causing her trouble, and the feeding of the many dogs has become increasingly difficult. Therefore, we want to support and try to help some of their dogs to a new, better life – including Ajtor. A life that is just for them and where they can finally fit in. Ajtor is the brother of Argo and Alma – and of the three siblings, the one who will need the most time, patience, and understanding. In the dog group, he fits in well, is compatible, and follows his fellow animals. However, when it comes to dealing with us humans, he still has a lot of trouble. Ajtor is shy, sometimes fearful, often appears restless, and does not yet know how to handle new situations or proximity. He has simply not had enough to learn – and so much is still unfamiliar or even frightening to him. What Ajtor needs now is a quiet environment without children or city hustle – a home in the countryside or in a quiet peripheral area would be ideal. Even though we do not necessarily require experienced dog owners, we are looking for people with a healthy understanding of dogs, patience, and the willingness to take him in. Ajtor still needs to be picked up at the very beginning – he does not need pity, but people who give him time and do not immediately set expectations. With the right mix of calmness, stability, and loving consistency, Ajtor can also build trust and gradually fit in.

Ajtor war in einer kleinen privaten Station in Ungarn. Dort kümmerte sich eine engagierte Tierschützerin liebevoll um einige Hunde – doch mit der Zeit machten ihr gesundheitliche Probleme zu schaffen, sodass sie die Versorgung der Tiere nicht mehr allein bewältigen konnte. Als in unserem Partnertierheim Allatbarat Plätze frei wurden, durften die Hunde, darunter auch Ajtor, umziehen. Ajtor ist der Bruder von Argo und Alma und von den drei Geschwistern derjenige, der am meisten Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis brauchen wird. In der Hundegruppe läuft er super mit, ist verträglich und orientiert sich an seinen Artgenossen. Doch im Umgang mit uns Menschen tut er sich noch etwas schwer. Ajtor ist schüchtern und weiß noch nicht, wie er mit neuen Situationen oder Nähe umgehen soll. Er hat bislang einfach zu wenig kennenlernen dürfen und so ist vieles für ihn noch fremd. Was Ajtor braucht, ist ein ruhiges Umfeld ohne Kinder, ohne Großstadthektik – ein Zuhause auf dem Land oder in ruhiger Randlage wäre ideal. Auch wenn wir nicht zwingend erfahrene Hundehalter fordern, suchen wir Menschen mit gesundem Hundeverstand, Geduld und der Bereitschaft, sich auf ihn einzulassen. Ajtor muss noch ganz am Anfang abgeholt werden – er braucht kein Mitleid, sondern Menschen, die ihm Zeit geben und nicht sofort Erwartungen stellen. Mit der richtigen Mischung aus Ruhe, Stabilität und liebevoller Konsequenz kann auch Ajtor Vertrauen fassen und Schritt für Schritt ankommen.
