02-06-26 Donna is a frightened little lady who has come to us from a breeder and is still trying to make sense of the world around her. She is understandably wary of people and doesn't yet realise that humans can be kind and caring companions. When approached, Donna may shy away as she is still learning to feel safe and secure. Donna will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home that she can look to for reassurance as she settles into family life. The company of another dog will be invaluable in helping her gain confidence, learn from their example, and adjust to her new surroundings. Donna has never lived in a home before and will need patient adopters who can gently guide her through house training, household routines, and all the new experiences that come with being a cherished family pet. Lead walking may feel far too overwhelming for her initially, so spending time exploring a secure garden and enjoying gentle sniffing sessions would be the perfect way to begin building her confidence. Donna could live with older, dog-savvy children who understand that she will need time, patience, and space to settle in and learn to trust. She is looking for a family who will allow her to progress at her own pace and celebrate every small step along the way. This sweet girl simply needs plenty of TLC, understanding, and patience to help her come out of her shell. With the right home and the support she deserves, Donna has every chance to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. Donna has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
