Lily May est venue à nous d'un éleveur et espère maintenant trouver sa propre maison spéciale pour toujours. Lorsqu'elle est arrivée, elle était une petite fille très inquiète qui se sentait très submergée par ses nouveaux environnements. Il est clair qu'elle n'a pas eu beaucoup de socialisation avant, donc elle aura besoin de beaucoup d'amour et de soins pendant qu'elle s'installe dans sa nouvelle vie. Lily May a brièvement été placée chez un adopteur temporaire, où elle a commencé à trouver ses marques et à s'adapter à la vie en famille. Malheureusement, elle ne s'est pas bien entendue avec l'une des chiennes femelles résidentes dans son foyer d'adoption, donc elle a dû revenir au refuge où elle s'est bien réadaptée. Elle a ensuite montré qu'elle pouvait être exigeante quant aux chiennes femelles avec lesquelles elle souhaite partager son espace, et c'est pourquoi elle recherchera désormais une maison avec un chien mâle, car elle préfère nettement la compagnie des chiens mâles. Elle a été placée avec un chat, donc elle pourrait potentiellement être adoptée avec un chat habitué aux chiens. Lily May sera mieux adaptée à une maison calme et silencieuse, avec des adoptants ayant de l'expérience avec des chiens effrayés anciens élevés en captivité, qui l'aideront à s'installer à son propre rythme. Elle reste très timide, mais prend tout doucement. Elle a déjà accepté facilement une harnais et commence à marcher en laisse. Bien qu'elle ait encore besoin de continuer à gagner en confiance en sortant. Elle se montre bien avec les autres chiens pendant les promenades et même commence à s'habituer à saluer leurs propriétaires, montrant ainsi à quel point elle est courageuse ! Comme elle n'a jamais vécu dans une maison auparavant, Lily May aura besoin d'adoptants patients et compréhensifs pour lui présenter progressivement les routines quotidiennes. Elle aura besoin d'aide pour apprendre à faire ses besoins à l'intérieur, cependant elle commençait déjà à bien réussir cela chez son placement temporaire. Elle reste sensible aux bruits et mouvements du quotidien, mais commence à mieux gérer avec une réassurance douce et un soutien. Lily May tolère d'être manipulée, et cela s'améliorera davantage à mesure que sa confiance se développe. Lily May est une petite fille adorable qui a simplement besoin de patience, d'amour et de réassurance. Avec la bonne famille à ses côtés, elle continuera à gagner en confiance et deviendra un compagnon dévoué et affectueux. Elle est actuellement traitée pour une infection de l'oreille. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident. Ce chien peut être adopté avec des chats.

Lily May has come to us from a breeder and is now hoping to find her own special forever home. When she first arrived, she was a very worried little girl who was feeling quite overwhelmed by her new surroundings. Its clear she hasn’t had much socialisation before, so she will need lots of love and TLC as she settles into her new life. Lily May did move briefly to a foster home, where she began to find her paws and settle into home life. Unfortunately she didn't get on with one of the female resident dogs in her foster home so she has had to come back to the rescue where she has settled back in well. She has since shown that she can be picky with which female dogs she likes to share her space with and so for this reason she will now be looking for a home with a male resident dog as she much prefers the company of male dogs. She was in foster with a cat and so could possibly be homed with a dog savvy cat. Lily May will be best suited to a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who will help her settle in at her own pace. She is still very timid, but is taking everything gently in her stride. She can already walk on a lead, so she would enjoy one or two walks around the local area when she is settled in. She meets other dogs well on walks and is even getting comfortable greeting their owners as well, showing just how brave she is! As she has had limited experience in a home, Lily May will need patient and understanding adopters to gently introduce her to everyday routines. She will need support with learning about house training, however, she was already starting to do really well with this in her foster home. She remains sensitive to everyday noises and movements, but is beginning to cope better with gentle reassurance and support. Lily May does tolerate being handled, and this will continue to improve as her trust develops. Lily May is a sweet little girl who simply needs patience, love and reassurance. With the right family by her side, she will continue to grow in confidence and become a devoted and loving companion. She is currently being treated for an ear infection. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
