17-04-26 Cassy est une adorable jeune fille qui nous a été envoyée par un éleveur et qui est encore en train de développer sa confiance. Elle peut être un peu hésitante au début et cherche le réconfort en compagnie d'autres chiens. Elle aura besoin d'au moins un autre chien bienveillant et confiant dans son nouveau foyer, qui pourra l'aider à se guider et à acquérir la confiance nécessaire pendant son adaptation. Cassy n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, donc ses adoptants devront être patients et compréhensifs pendant qu'elle apprend tout sur l'entraînement à la maison et comment marcher en laisse. Commencer par des explorations douces dans le jardin et des moments calmes à l'extérieur l'aideront à s'habituer progressivement au monde qui l'entoure. Cette charmante jeune fille cherche simplement quelqu'un prêt à lui accorder une chance, offrant l'amour, la patience et le réconfort dont elle a besoin pour véritablement prospérer. Cassy est arrivée avec un œil cerise à l'œil droit qui a depuis été chirurgicalement réparé au moment de sa stérilisation. Elle est également traitée pour une conjonctivite. Elle a eu un rendez-vous dentaire avec l'extraction d'une dent et nos vétérinaires ont noté qu'une autre dent a la racine légèrement exposée, mais ils ont conseillé qu'elle ne soit pas retirée pour l'instant et qu'elle soit surveillée à l'avenir. Cassy possède un document de voyage. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident.

Cassy is a sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to start her next chapter. She can be a little overwhelmed by new situations and may be unsure initially, but with time, love and patience she is already showing just how much progress she can make. Cassy briefly moved into a foster home and was settling in wonderfully before sadly having to return to the rescue centre when her cherry eye recurred and required further surgical repair. Since then, she has continued to make positive strides and is growing in confidence every day. Cassy relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and reassurance, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and provide support as she continues to learn about life in a home environment. Although Cassy had never lived in a home before her foster home, and she proved herself to be fully housetrained and adapted well to her new surroundings. Her adopters will still need to be patient and understanding as she continues to build confidence and learn about the world around her and may need reminders in her new home regarding house training. Cassy has also started her lead-walking journey. She has been out on a lead several times and was beginning to enjoy her walks, so her new family can continue to build on this progress at a pace that suits her. She has met cats and was very good with them, so could potentially live alongside a feline friend, with sensible introductions. She has also met children and appeared a little wary, so any children in her new home must be older dog savvy teens, and should be calm, patient and understanding of her gentle nature. This lovely girl is simply looking for someone willing to take a chance on her, offering the love, patience and reassurance she needs to truly thrive. In return, you'll have the privilege of watching her blossom into the happy, confident dog she is meant to be. Cassy has had her cherry eye repaired, which has recently popped back out, but is too small to repair, and has also been treated for conjunctivitis. She has had a dental with one tooth extracted, and our vets have noted that one other tooth has a slightly exposed root. This does not require removal at present but should be monitored by her future veterinary team. Cassy has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
