02-06-26 Deloras est un Bichon Frise timide qui a déjà conquis les cœurs ici au refuge. Elle est entrée dans notre protection provenant d'un éleveur et cherche maintenant un nouveau départ affectueux. Très timide par nature, Deloras reste souvent en arrière et nous regarde de loin pendant quelques minutes avant de trouver lentement le courage de demander des caresses. Elle accepte le contact lorsqu'il est nécessaire, mais ce n'est pas quelque chose dont elle est confortable pour l'instant, et sa première réaction est souvent de fuir plutôt que d'être attrapée. Malgré ses anxiétés, c'est une petite fille douce et gentille qui fait de son mieux pour être brave. Deloras s'entend merveilleusement bien avec ses amis de la cage et compte sur leur présence pour se rassurer, donc elle aura besoin d'un chien bienveillant dans sa nouvelle maison pour l'aider à s'orienter et lui offrir le soutien dont elle a besoin pendant qu'elle s'installe et trouve ses marques. Comme Deloras n'a jamais vécu dans une maison auparavant, elle devra apprendre tout sur l'éducation aux chiens, la laisse et les bases de la vie à la maison. Ses adoptants devront être patients et compréhensifs alors qu'elle s'adapte à un tout nouveau monde. Elle pourrait partager sa maison avec des adolescents expérimentés avec les chiens qui comprennent qu'elle aura besoin d'une introduction douce et silencieuse à la maison ainsi qu'à son propre espace pour s'installer. Deloras arrive légèrement en surpoids, donc elle aura besoin d'une bonne alimentation et d'exercices doux pour atteindre et maintenir un poids sain. Cela devra continuer dans sa nouvelle maison. Elle a également une alopécie le long de son dos qui devrait s'améliorer avec une bonne toilette, une alimentation et un peu de soins attentionnés. Douce, bienveillante et extrêmement tendre, Deloras est le genre de chien qui entre subtilement dans votre cœur. Avec du temps, de la patience et le soutien d'un ami canin, nous sommes sûrs qu'elle fleurira en un compagnon aimant et dévoué qui rendra sa future famille très chanceuse. 02-06-26 Deloras is a shy Bichon Frise who has already won over hearts here at the rescue. She has come into our care from a breeder and is now searching for a loving new start. Quite shy by nature, Deloras will often stand back and watch us from a distance for a few minutes before slowly finding the confidence to ask for a fuss. She will accept handling when needed, but it is not something she is comfortable with just yet, and her first instinct is often to run away rather than be caught. Despite her worries, she is a gentle and sweet little girl who is trying her best to be brave. Deloras gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. As Deloras has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a completely new world. She could share her home with dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate and understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in. Deloras has arrived slightly overweight, so she will need a good diet and gentle exercise to help her reach and maintain a healthy weight. This will need to be continued in her new home. She also has some alopecia along her back which should improve with a good groom, diet and some TLC. Gentle, kind, and incredibly sweet, Deloras is the sort of dog who quietly works her way into your heart. With time, patience, and the support of a canine friend, we are sure she will blossom into a loving and devoted companion who will make her future family very lucky indeed. She has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
