MISE À JOUR : Sky est actuellement en famille d'accueil à Essex. Sky est une jeune fille magnifique mais reste encore timide et a besoin d'un foyer aimant et patient pour l'aider à améliorer sa confiance et à sortir de sa coquille. Elle vit actuellement avec d'autres chiens du refuge et s'entend bien avec eux, bien qu'elle soit timide au début. Elle a peur des gens et bénéficiera d'un chien sympathique résidant dans un foyer à long terme pour lui montrer le chemin. Elle choisit ses propres endroits sûrs dans la maison et apprend progressivement à faire confiance. Sky est un English Setter de 5 ans, date de naissance 02.09.20. Elle a été donnée au refuge par son chasseur qui ne pouvait plus s'en occuper. La pauvre fille est arrivée très timide avec beaucoup d'insecurités, elle a mal réagi au changement vers le refuge mais commence lentement à permettre aux gens de la caresser. Avec le temps et un adoptant patient, elle s'améliorera et laisserez apparaître sa vraie nature merveilleuse. Malheureusement, les refuges sont difficiles pour des chiens comme Sky. Bien qu'ils s'améliorent avec le temps, c'est un processus lent par rapport à être dans un foyer avec une famille qui peut la guider dans la vie et lui montrer que les choses n'ont pas à être si effrayantes.

UPDATE: Sky is currently in foster in Essex. Sky is a beautiful girl but is still nervous and needs a kind and patient home to help improve her confidence and bring her out of her shell. She is currently living with other resident dogs and getting on well with them, although she can be nervous at first. She is nervous of people and will benefit from a friendly resident dog in a home long term to help show her the ropes. She picks her own safe spaces in the home and is gradually learning to trust Sky is a 5 year old English Setter, DOB 02.09.20 Sky was given to the shelter by her hunter who could no longer look after her. The poor girl arrived very nervous with a lot of insecurities, she has taken the move to the shelter quite badly but is slowly allowing people to stroke her. In time and with a patient adopter, she will improve and let her true wonderful character shine though. Sadly, shelters are tough for dogs like Sky. Although they improve over time, it’s a slow process compared to being in a home with a family who can guide her through life and show her things don’t have to be so scary.
