Gio è arrivato al rifugio con il suo amico più piccolo Gojo, entrambi senza microchip e senza umani. Li hanno trovati in strada e nessuno è mai tornato a cercarli. I cani non cadono dalla Marte, e neppure uno dei due era in cattive condizioni fisiche, quindi devono provenire da qualche tipo di casa. In ogni caso, l'amico di Gio, Gojo, è già riservato per l'adozione, ma Gio cerca ancora una famiglia..... Gio è un ragazzo allegro che ha bisogno solo di alcuni momenti con nuove persone, per conoscerle, prima di mostrare la sua parte dolce. Ma una volta che ti conosce un po' e vede che sei lì per amarlo, i suoi occhi si illuminano e si trasforma in un gatto che fa le fusa, posando la testa sul tuo fianco, sotto il tuo braccio, per attenzione e vicinanza. Dei due, Gojo è il ragazzone goffo, mentre Gio è più equilibrato e stabile, ma in realtà è solo un giovane ragazzo che vuole essere giocoso e libero, in un ambiente sicuro e tranquillo. Il primo mese nel rifugio è stato molto difficile per Gio, si sentiva insicuro intorno a tutti i cani che abbaiavano, e non aveva la fiducia necessaria per gestire i cani dominanti che passavano davanti a lui, quindi abbaiava e tirava la guinzaglia. Ora è più sicuro di sé e si è ambientato meglio nella vita del rifugio, quindi riesce a gestire meglio i cani "minacciosi" in modo più calmo, sapendo ora che può fidarsi degli umani per prendersi cura di lui. Gio piacciono davvero gli altri cani, ma crediamo che semplicemente non si sentisse al sicuro. Gio cerca una casa sicura e comprensiva, dove possa prendersi il suo tempo per sentirsi sicuro e preso cura - una famiglia che capisca che probabilmente non verrà a baciarti il primo appuntamento, ma forse potrai già rubargli un bacio il secondo! Preferiremmo una casa senza bambini piccoli per Gio, per la sua pace e tranquillità. L'altezza alla spalla di Gio è circa 66 cm.

Gio arrived to the shelter with his smaller young friend Gojo, both of them without microchips, without humans. They were found on the street and noone ever came looking for them again. Dogs don't fall from Mars, and neither of them was in a bad physical state either, so they must have come from some sort of a home. Either way, Gio's friend Gojo is already reserved for adoption, but Gio is still looking for a family..... Gio is cheerful boy, who just needs a few moments with new people, to get to know them, before he let's his soft side show. But once he knows you a bit and sees you are there to love him, his eyes light up, and he turns into a purring cat, putting his head on your side, under your arm, for attention and closeness. From the two of them Gojo is the running goofy guy, and Gio is more balanced and steady, but actually he is just a young boy, who wants to be playful and free, in a safe and secure environment. The first month in the shelter was very hard for Gio, he was feeling insecure around all the barking dogs, and did not have the confidence to handle dominant dogs passing him, so he was barking and pulling on the leash. Now he is more self-confident and more settled into the shelter life, so he is handling passing other "threatening" dogs in a calmer manner, knowing now that he can trust the humans to take care of him. Gio actually likes other dogs, but we believe he just did not feel safe. Gio is looking for a safe and understanding home, where he can take his time at first for feeling secure and taken care of - a family who will understand that he probably won't come and kiss you on the first date, but you can probably already steal a kiss on the second date! We would prefer a home without small children for Gio, for his peace and quiet. Gio's shoulder height is approximately 66cm.
