Asta è stato lasciato indietro dalla sua famiglia che non poteva più tenerlo, perché era diventato troppo grande. Apparentemente la donna anziana della famiglia lo ha preso come cucciolo e pensava che sarebbe stato un Yorkshire. Bene, Yorkshir non è sicuramente, e la sua coda è più grande di un Yorkshire! Asta è un cane WOW, sembra così straordinariamente speciale, come una miscela di lupo con un po' di Podenco Ratonero ma anche Dogo Argentino. Non sappiamo veramente che razza sia ma ha un aspetto così bello e potente, come un cane che si vedrebbe in film epici fantasy, che cammina nei boschi selvaggi. L'altezza delle spalle di Asta è 64 cm, e anche se è grande, cammina molto bene al guinzaglio, e la maggior parte del tempo resta calmo camminando al tuo fianco. Quando vede un altro cane amichevole, è felice di salutare sia maschi che femmine, e è previsto che viva presto con un gruppo di femmine. Asta ascolta bene il suo nome e viene da te quando lo chiami. Gli piacciono le snack, ma non ne è ossessionato, quindi è molto piacevole fare esercizi di addestramento con lui, senza che si ecciti eccessivamente. Asta è stato lasciato nel rifugio con una lunga lista di cose che gli piacciono e di come ha vissuto in precedenza in casa, ma ciò che la famiglia non ha menzionato, è che Asta ha una malformazione del osso del femore alla gamba posteriore destra. Vive bene con essa, cammina e corre bene, ma per dargli una vita lunga e felice, il traumatologo ha consigliato di operare la gamba, che sarà seguita da fisioterapia, in modo che possa sviluppare muscoli su quel lato del corpo, e presto correre più comodamente. Il rifugio si occuperà dell'intervento e della terapia, è disponibile per l'adozione prima dell'intervento, non è un problema.

Asta was left behind by his family who could not have him anymore, because he grew too big. Apparently the elderly woman of the family got him as a puppy and thought he will be a Yorkshire. Well, Yorkshire he is definitely not, and his tail is bigger than a Yorkshire! Asta is a WOW dog, he looks so stunningly special, like a mixture of a wolfdog with a bit of Podenco Ratonero but also Dogo Argentino. We don't really know what breed he is but he looks so beautiful and mighty, like a dog that you would see in epic fantasy movies, walking in the wild forests. Asta's shoulder height is 64cm, and even though he is big, he walks very well on the leash, and most of the time stays calmly walking by your side. When he sees another friendly kind dog, he is happy to say hello both to nice male and female dogs, and he is planned to live together with a group of females soon. Asta listens well to his name and comes to you when you call him. He does like snacks, but he does not get obsessed about them, so it is very nice to do little training exercise with him, without him getting overly excited. Asta was left in the shelter with a long list of things he likes and how he has lived before in a home, but what the family did not mention, is that Asta has a femur bone malformation on his back right leg. He lives well with it, walks and runs well, but to give him a long happy life ahead, traumatologist has advised to operate on the leg, which will be followed by physiotherapy, so he can grow muscles on that side of his body, and soon to run more comfortably. The shelter will be taking care of his operation and therapy, he is also available for adoption before the surgery, that is not a problem.
