Stupenda Jolene è una ragazza davvero straordinaria, con le orecchie più spettacolari e un aspetto che attira l'attenzione ovunque vada. Ma non è solo la sua apparizione a renderla speciale: è un giovane cane intelligente e affettuoso, con tanto potenziale in una casa adatta. Jolene è un'anima sensibile che ha trovato la vita soffocante nella sua precedente casa. Ha formato un legame estremamente forte con il suo proprietario, che ha portato ad un grave disturbo d'ansia da separazione. Man mano che l'ansia aumentava, ha iniziato a mostrare comportamenti reattivi verso gli sconosciuti, sia in casa che durante le passeggiate. Da quando è arrivata da noi, Jolene non ha mostrato nessuno di questi comportamenti, è molto più rilassata e stiamo cominciando a vedere l'incredibile cane che realmente è sotto la sua ansia. Una cosa che rende veramente felice Jolene sono gli altri cani. Adora la compagnia canina ed è attualmente in splendida salute con la nostra famiglia di day care, dove trascorre tempo socializzando e giocando. Essere circondato da altri cani è essenziale per la sua felicità e sicurezza, e cerchiamo una casa con almeno un cane ben equilibrato e sicuro per guidarla e rassicurarla. (Non è ancora stata testata con i gatti.) A Jolene servirà una casa dove qualcuno è presente per la maggior parte del giorno, almeno all'inizio, per continuare a lavorare sul suo disturbo d'ansia da separazione e aiutarla a costruire gradualmente e positivamente la propria indipendenza. È giovane, brillante e piena di energia. Una casa attiva è essenziale: idealmente con adottanti con esperienza su razze di lavoro o cani con alta motivazione. Le piace giocare con palle e probabilmente eccellerebbe in attività come il flyball o altre corse canine che le danno stimolazione mentale e fisica. Jolene può vivere con adolescenti maggiori di 16 anni responsabili e sensati, ed è stata precedentemente in presenza di bambini più piccoli in visita. È una ragazza assolutamente bellissima che ha rapidamente rubato cuori qui – se potessimo, tutto lo staff la prenderebbe a casa! Con la giusta guida, struttura e compagnia, Jolene ha il potenziale di diventare un'aggiunta incredibile per una casa impegnata e comprensiva.

Stunning Jolene is a truly striking girl, with the most spectacular ears and a look that turns heads wherever she goes. But it’s not just her appearance that makes her special — she’s an intelligent, affectionate young dog with so much potential in the right home. Jolene is a sensitive soul who found life overwhelming in her previous home. She formed an extremely strong attachment to her owner, which led to severe separation anxiety. As her anxiety increased, she began to show reactive behaviours towards strangers, both in the home and out on walks. Since arriving with us Jolene has not displayed any of these behaviours, she is much more relaxed and we are beginning to see the incredible dog she really is underneath her anxiety. One thing that truly brings Jolene to life is other dogs. She absolutely loves canine company and is currently thriving with our daycare family, where she spends time socialising and playing. Being around other dogs is key to her happiness and confidence, and we are looking for a home with at least one confident, well-balanced resident dog to help guide and reassure her. (She has not yet been cat tested.) Jolene will need a home where someone is around for most of the day, at least initially, to continue working on her separation anxiety and help her build independence gradually and positively. She is young, bright, and full of energy. An active home is essential — ideally with adopters who have experience of working breeds or high-drive dogs. She loves playing with balls and would likely excel at activities such as flyball or other dog sports that give her both mental and physical stimulation. Jolene could live with older, sensible teenagers aged 16+, and she has previously been around younger visiting children. She is an absolutely gorgeous girl who has quickly stolen hearts here — if we could, the staff would all take her home themselves! With the right guidance, structure, and companionship, Jolene has the potential to be an incredible addition to a committed and understanding home.
