Buddy has come to us due to an official pickup. Buddy seems to have seen very little, if anything, and is therefore unsure in a new environment at the beginning. Buddy ist aufgrund einer behördlichen Abnahme zu uns gekommen. Buddy dürfte wenig bis gar nichts kennengelernt haben, weshalb in einer neuen Umgebung zu Beginn unsicher ist. Der schöne Rüde hat bei uns bereits sehr viel gelernt und sich zu einem freundlichen, lustigen Hund entwickelt. Er hängt sehr an seinen Bezugspersonen, mit denen er gerne Zeit verbringt und kuschelt. Buddy lebt bei uns mit mehreren Hunden zusammen. Buddy sucht nach einem ruhigen Zuhause, in dem er den vollen Familienanschluss hat. Er wünscht sich entspannte Spaziergänge in der Natur, ein stabiles Umfeld und sehr viel Ruhe. Beim Kennenlernen von unbekannten Menschen und einer neuen Umgebung braucht er etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Die Sozialisierung unserer Katzen ist uns sehr wichtig. Katzen sind soziale Tiere und brauchen den Kontakt zu anderen Katzen. Mit der Unterstützung einer Katzenverhaltensberaterin bereiten wir unsere Katzen auf ihr zukünftiges Leben mit Menschen und anderen Katzen vor. Wir nehmen uns gemeinsam mit den Interessent*innen Zeit, das jeweilige Tier vorzustellen und über seine Geschichte zu erzählen. Hierbei klären wir auch die persönliche Wohn- und Lebenssituation ab. Sind alle Fragen geklärt, so kommt der große Moment des persönlichen Kennenlernens zwischen Mensch und Tier. Das erste Zusammentreffen erfolgt immer in Beisein eine*r*s Trainer*in. Dabei wird erneut auf das Verhalten des Hundes oder der Katze eingegangen. In weiterer Folge haben die zukünftigen Familien die Gelegenheit, ihr Haustier entweder beim Spazierengehen oder beim Spielen im Katzenhaus kennenzulernen. Das Probewohnen bietet sowohl den Hunden als auch den Menschen die Möglichkeit, sich an die neue Lebenssituation zu gewöhnen.
