The animal arrived at the shelter very scared and distrustful, and was apparently hit by a car. He had been on the street for several days. Since arriving, he has been on bed rest until surgery was performed on his humerus fracture. He wore an external fixator, which was recently removed. He continues to take short walks on a leash and is starting to put weight on his leg.
