Scout was admitted into our care as an injured stray. After treatment by our veterinary team and time spent with our animal care team, he is now ready to find himself a new home! Scout is an independent kitty but he does have an affectionate side! He enjoys spending time around people, getting some gentle head rubs and getting some fuss. He is looking to find a home with a family who understand that he has a shy personality and will need his own space and time to settle and adjust in his new environment. Scout would thrive in a calm and settled household with older teenagers aged 16 years old and above, who understand he may need his own space and will allow him to build confidence at his own pace. As an independent and adventurous cat, Scout would ideally like access to the outdoors once he has fully settled into his new home, giving him the freedom to explore and satisfy his curious nature. As he came into our care as a stary, it is unknown how he would react around other animals in the home.
