While Trevor is mostly housetrained, his love for food makes him a quick learner and a joy to train. He’s curious about the world and needs ongoing socialisation. Though he has a chase drive for wildlife and cats, with the right guidance, Trevor can channel his energy positively. He's a happy and clever boy looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. Meet Trevor, an adorable 11-month-old Lurcher ready to steal your heart! This lively pup has a playful personality and has the potential to live with another dog pending meets at the centre. Although Trevor can be vocal when excited to meet other dogs, he's simply eager to make friends. He's great with children aged 8 and up who are familiar with energetic dogs. Trevor has a past as a stray, and while he was briefly homed, he returned due to separation anxiety. He would benefit from a home where someone is around most of the time to help him adjust. Our behavior team will provide guidance to ensure a smooth transition into his new environment. A garden would be a bonus for Trevor’s zoomies, but regular access to outdoor spaces would suffice.
