This lovely 1-year-old Weimaraner–Deutsch Kurzhaar mix-female dog from Oberhausen is seeking a loving home with people who enjoy active and intelligent hunting dog mixes and are willing to show her the world with patience, time, and understanding. Frida is friendly, curious, brave, and absolutely people-oriented. She enjoys the company of her people, loves cuddle sessions just as much as running, playing, and playing with other dogs. She also loves children and shows no aggressive behavior—neither towards people nor other dogs. Outdoors, she is currently still easily excitable and reactive. Her lead work is still in development and she needs people who can work calmly and consistently with her. Her hunting behavior has mainly shown through intense sniffing and enjoyment of ground work—she has not been hunting-led before. She particularly enjoys foraging games and nose work, which suggests she could be well-suited for Mantrailing or similar activities in the future. She is not really compatible with cats—she reacts with interest and excitement but not aggression. Frida rides in the car without any problems, can be left alone for about 5–6 hours after getting used to it, and brings a lot of potential with her curious, open nature. At around 50 cm shoulder height, she is athletic, active, and full of life. For this special female dog, we are looking for a home with a garden with active people, ideally with experience or understanding of sensitive, intelligent hunting dog mixes. She is an absolute family dog but needs clear structures, stimulation, and people who enjoy growing with her. Frida’s people are looking for a new home for her because they can no longer be fair to her due to a changed living situation and are now looking for a home with us where they can spend more time with this wonderful young pup. Diese hübsche 1-jährige Weimaraner–Deutschkurzhaar-Mix-Hündin aus Oberhausen sucht ein liebevolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die Freude an aktiven und intelligenten Jagdhund-Mixen haben und ihr mit Geduld, Zeit und Verständnis die Welt zeigen möchten. Frida ist freundlich, neugierig, mutig und absolut menschenbezogen. Sie genießt die Nähe ihrer Menschen sehr, liebt Kuscheleinheiten ebenso wie Rennen, Toben und Spielen mit anderen Hunden. Auch Kinder mag sie sehr und zeigt keinerlei aggressives Verhalten – weder gegenüber Menschen noch anderen Hunden. Draußen ist sie momentan noch schnell aufgeregt und reizoffen. Die Leinenführigkeit ist daher noch ausbaufähig und sie braucht Menschen, die ruhig und konsequent mit ihr weiterarbeiten. Ihr Jagdverhalten zeigt sich bisher hauptsächlich durch intensives Schnüffeln und Freude an Bodenarbeit – jagdlich geführt wurde sie bislang nicht. Futtersuchspiele und Nasenarbeit machen ihr besonders viel Spaß, weshalb sie sich zukünftig sicher auch gut für Mantrailing oder ähnliche Beschäftigungen eignen könnte. Mit Katzen ist sie nicht wirklich kompatibel – sie reagiert interessiert und aufgeregt, jedoch nicht aggressiv. Frida fährt problemlos im Auto mit, kann nach Eingewöhnung etwa 5–6 Stunden alleine bleiben und bringt mit ihrer neugierigen, offenen Art viel Potenzial mit. Mit ca. 50 cm Schulterhöhe ist sie sportlich, aktiv und voller Lebensfreude. Für diese besondere Hündin wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause mit Garten bei aktiven Menschen, idealerweise mit Erfahrung oder Verständnis für sensible, intelligente Jagdhund-Mixe. Sie ist ein absoluter Familienhund, braucht jedoch klare Strukturen, Auslastung und Menschen, die Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit ihr zu wachsen. Fridas Menschen suchen ein neues Zuhause für sie, da sie ihr durch eine veränderte Lebenssituation nicht gerecht werden und im Sinne von Frida nun mit uns gemeinsam ein Zuhause suchen, wo man mehr Zeit für diese tolle Junghündin hat.
