Our majestic tomcat Xaver came to us as a stray from Deggendorf. He was not neutered and had a wound on his neck—an abscess that has now fully healed and no longer causes him any pain. Of course, Xaver is now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. Now he is looking for a home that is worthy of him. The first encounter with Xaver usually starts with a hiss—after all, he wants to make an impression. He is still a bit shy, but a really nice guy. It just takes a bit of patience with him until he builds trust and warms up. Later, Xaver should definitely be allowed outside again. Above all, he wishes for a real home and not just a life at feeding stations where he has to beg for food every day. This cat needs outdoor access.

Unser stattlicher Kater Xaver kam als Fundtier aus Deggendorf zu uns. Er war nicht kastriert und hatte eine Verletzung am Hals – einen Abszess, der inzwischen vollständig verheilt ist und ihm keine Schmerzen mehr bereitet. Natürlich ist Xaver mittlerweile kastriert, gechippt, geimpft und entwurmt. Nun sucht er endlich ein Zuhause, das seiner würdig ist. Die erste Begegnung mit Xaver beginnt meist erst einmal mit einem Fauchen – schließlich möchte er Eindruck machen. Er ist noch etwas scheu, aber ein wirklich netter Kerl. Man braucht einfach etwas Geduld mit ihm, bis er Vertrauen fasst und auftaut. Später sollte Xaver unbedingt wieder Freigang bekommen. Vor allem wünscht er sich endlich ein richtiges Zuhause und nicht länger ein Leben an Futterstellen, an denen er täglich um sein Futter betteln muss.
