I am Arkor … a young, rottweiler-type male dog. I came to the animal shelter because my person sadly passed away. Now I am looking for a new, stable home with clear rules, lots of love, and patience. Would you like to know more about me? I am friendly, strong, and clever. I can do basic commands, and on the leash, I walk nicely. Typical Rotti, I defend what is important to me: food, toys (I still need to learn to put them away), and sometimes "my" people – this is socially motivated but requires management and training. Touching me everywhere is not always okay; but if you read my body language, you will get along well with me. I wear my muzzle reliably and should continue to wear it in certain situations – because there was a biting incident. With clear structure, fair leadership, and rewards, I learn quickly and enjoy it, and playing makes me very happy. I wish for … a dog or preferably breed-experienced, child-free home – ideally with a confident individual. I should not have to climb stairs in my new home. A quiet environment, clear routines, exchange and impulse control training, as well as consistent muzzle and safety management will help me settle in. Please plan several visits for getting to know and building trust. Will I fit with you/yours?

Ich bin Arkor … ein junger, rottweiler-typischer Rüde. Ich kam ins Tierheim, weil mein Mensch leider verstorben ist. Jetzt suche ich ein neues, stabiles Zuhause mit klaren Regeln, viel Herz und Geduld. Möchtest du mehr über mich erfahren? Ich bin freundlich, kräftig und clever. Grundkommandos kann ich, an der Leine laufe ich ordentlich. Typisch Rotti verteidige ich für mich Wichtiges: Futter, Spielzeug (Abgeben muss ich noch üben) und manchmal auch „meine“ Menschen – das ist sozial motiviert, braucht aber Management und Training. Einfach überall anfassen finde ich nicht immer okay; wer meine Körpersprache liest, kommt aber gut mit mir klar. Ich trage meinen Maulkorb zuverlässig und soll ihn zunächst weiterhin in bestimmten Situationen tragen – denn es gab einen Beißvorfall. Mit klarer Struktur, fairer Führung und Belohnung lerne ich schnell und gern, auch Spielen macht mir viel Spaß. Ich wünsche mir … ein hunde- bzw am besten rasseerfahrenes, kinderfreies Zuhause – im Idealfall bei einer souveränen Einzelperson. Treppen sollte ich nicht steigen müssen in meinem neuen Zuhause. Ein ruhiger Rahmen, klare Routinen, Tausch- und Impulskontrolltraining sowie konsequentes Maulkorb- und Sicherheitsmanagement helfen mir, anzukommen.
