Cooper was picked up in May 2021, along with several other dogs. All of them were very scared dogs who had never had any contact with humans. Since then, although some of them have been adopted, we are still working on their socialization. Cooper is a very shy dog around people, as he has not yet realized that they are not a threat. Although, if he feels sufficiently relaxed, he can take treats and food, he remains paralyzed with fear. His ideal family would have other dogs, as he relies heavily on them, and would need to be very patient with him. Cooper has been in foster care for months, where he has been making gradual progress, although there is still a long way to go until he truly trusts.

Cooper fue recogido en mayo de 2021, junto con varios perros más. Todos ellos eran perros muy miedosos, que no habían tenido ningún tipo de contacto con los humanos. Desde entonces, aunque algunos de ellos han sido adoptados, seguimos trabajando en su socialización. Cooper es un perro muy tímido con las personas, pues aún no ha asumido que no son una amenaza. Su familia ideal tendría que tener otros perros, pues se apoya mucho en ellos, y tener mucha paciencia con él. Cooper está desde hace meses en una casa de acogida, donde ha ido avanzando poco a poco, aunque aún queda un largo camino por recorrer hasta que sea capaz de confiar de verdad.
