In the shelter, he always tried to create distance when Toni approached, and the different surfaces, especially the tiles in the quarantine, were a challenge for him. However, he adapts quite quickly and then gains trust. During walks that Toni takes with him, his insecurity is also visible, but he recovers quickly and allows himself to be attached to the person on the leash. We cannot imagine a city life for Martin, the new home should be rural. (mit Video) UPDATE April 2026: Martin haben wir eigentlich so vorgefunden, wie schon beschrieben. Zurückweichend, unsicher und fremde Menschen sind ihm nicht geheuer. In der Gruppe völlig problemlos und auch hier immer im Hintergrund. Martin braucht somit auf jeden Fall einen sicheren lustigen Gesellen an seiner Seite, der mit ihm den Weg aus seiner sicheren Burg in Angriff nimmt. Natürlich sind in erster Linie seine Menschen gefragt, Martin die Sicherheit zu vermitteln, die er im Shelter momentan von Marta und vor allem Hundetrainer Toni erhält. Ganz sicher wird sich Martin dann positiv entwickeln und die Ernsthaftigkeit einer Lebensfreude weichen. Martin wurde gemeinsam mit Martina von Menschen ohne festen Wohnsitz abgegeben, die sich eine Weile in einem der berüchtigtsten Viertel von Madrid niedergelassen hatten. Als sie für die Hunde keine Verwendung mehr hatten, gaben sie sie ab. Martin ist der schüchterne der beiden, orientiert sich an Martina und lässt ihr erstmal den Vortritt. Eine sichere Orientierungsstütze wäre bestimmt auch im neuen Zuhause von Vorteil, denn auch in der Kennenlernphase ist Martin unsicher. Im Shelter hat er immer versucht, Abstand zu gewinnen, wenn Toni sich genähert hat, auch machten ihm die unterschiedlichen Untergründe, vor allem die Fliesen in der Quarantäne zu schaffen. Doch er gewöhnt sich recht schnell und fasst dann auch Vertrauen. Bei Spaziergängen, die Toni mit ihm unternimmt, zeigt sich seine Unsicherheit ebenfalls, aber er fängt sich recht schnell und lässt sich auf den Menschen an der Leine ein. Ein Leben in der Stadt können wir uns für Martin aber nicht vorstellen, das neue Zuhause sollte ländlich sein. Größe ca. 70 cm, Gewicht ca. 22 kg, Charakter: freundlich, unsicher aber neugierig, Verträglich mit Artgenossen, im Tierheim seit Januar 2026 Martin reist gechipt, geimpft, kastriert, auf alle Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet, ebenfalls wird vor Ausreise ein Blutbild der Organwerte erstellt. Martin wird mit Sicherheitsgeschirr vermittelt, ein GPS-Tracker ist obligatorisch.
