Pilou was found wandering alone and unfortunately has never been claimed. It was the police who dropped him off at the shelter to ensure his safety. His body has many scars, silent traces of a difficult past. Despite this, Pilou is an incredibly kind and people-oriented dog. He enjoys contact and is gently handled. However, he is a dog that maintains a certain independence and also knows how to enjoy his own moments. About 4 years old, Pilou still has a lot to learn. On walks, he has a lot of energy and can pull strongly on the leash. He can also be reactive during crossings, which will require gentle guidance and work to help him progress. Pilou is also a big talker: he vocalizes a lot to express his emotions, whether it's excitement, frustration or joy. It's a expressive dog that communicates in its own way! It's also a real opportunist! An open door? Pilou won't hesitate for a second to check what's going on behind. And watch out, he clearly has the soul of a marathoner: once started, he can run for a long time without stopping. Therefore, vigilance and securing his environment will be essential.

Pilou a été trouvé errant, seul, et n’a malheureusement jamais été réclamé. C’est la police qui l’a déposé au refuge afin de le mettre en sécurité. Son corps porte de nombreuses cicatrices, traces silencieuses d’un passé que l’on devine difficile. Malgré cela, Pilou est un chien incroyablement gentil et proche de l’humain. Il apprécie le contact et se laisse manipuler avec douceur. C’est toutefois un chien qui garde une certaine indépendance et qui sait aussi profiter de ses moments à lui. Âgé d’environ 4 ans, Pilou a encore plusieurs choses à apprendre. En promenade, il a beaucoup d’énergie et peut tirer fortement en laisse. Il peut également se montrer réactif lors de croisements, ce qui nécessitera un accompagnement et un travail en douceur pour l’aider à progresser. Pilou est aussi un grand bavard : il vocalise beaucoup pour exprimer ses émotions, que ce soit l’excitation, la frustration ou la joie. C’est un chien expressif, qui communique à sa manière ! C’est également un vrai opportuniste ! Une porte ouverte ? Pilou n’hésitera pas une seconde à aller voir ce qu’il se passe derrière. Et attention, il a clairement l’âme d’un marathonien : une fois lancé, il peut courir longtemps sans s’arrêter. La vigilance et la sécurisation de son environnement seront donc essentielles.
