Because there she would have died. Now she is again in a cage. And the worst thing is that she has not become wild. She does not hiss. She does not defend herself. She comes into hands. She cuddles. She asks to be petted. As if she still believes in people. This breaks the most. Because she is so gentle, so tactile, so good... that she completely does not understand why she is still not needed by anyone. Spayed. Litter box trained perfectly. No problems. Golden. And she sits behind bars. Every day of her childhood passes in the cage. If she is not taken away - she will grow up there, or may fade away from sadness. Just another "shelter cat", who will learn not to wait. Please. Take her home. Because childhood does not return. And the cage should not be her only memory of life or even worse, the last thing she will ever see.
