Pik is about 9 years old. In his life, he has been through a lot - he came to us from an animal shelter in Radysy, where he previously lived in really difficult, brutal conditions. These experiences caused him to fear people to this day. Despite many years of socialization work, he is still not a dog that freely approaches people. He needs time, patience and a caregiver who will accept him as he is. Pik is not aggressive - he's just very cautious and reserved. He gets along well in a pack and functions both with female dog and males. We don't know his relationship with cats and children. He doesn't walk on a leash, so he would be best suited for a house with a garden, where he will feel safe and calm, getting to know the world at his own pace. We are looking for an extraordinary home for Pika - one that will understand his history and won't expect more from him than he is able to give. Sometimes the greatest act of love is simply allowing a dog to be himself.

Pik ma około 9 lat. W swoim życiu przeszedł bardzo dużo – trafił do nas ze schroniska w Radysach, gdzie wcześniej żył w naprawdę trudnych, masakrycznych warunkach. Te doświadczenia sprawiły, że do dziś boi się człowieka. Mimo wielu lat pracy nad socjalizacją nadal nie jest psem, który swobodnie podchodzi do ludzi. Potrzebuje czasu, cierpliwości i opiekuna, który zaakceptuje go takim, jakim jest. Pik nie jest agresywny – po prostu bardzo ostrożny i wycofany. Dobrze odnajduje się w stadzie i funkcjonuje zarówno z suczkami, jak i z samcami. Nie znamy jego stosunku do kotów i dzieci. Nie chodzi na smyczy, dlatego najlepiej sprawdzi się dla niego dom z ogrodem, w którym będzie mógł czuć się bezpiecznie i spokojnie poznawać świat w swoim tempie. Szukamy dla Pika wyjątkowego domu – takiego, który zrozumie jego historię i nie będzie oczekiwał od niego więcej, niż jest w stanie dać. Czasem największym aktem miłości jest po prostu pozwolić psu być sobą.
