Adoptă Pete

Pete is a 9 year old, small, male Bichon Frise. Unfortunately his past life did not include much socialisation so he is still a bit wary of strangers. After a few weeks at the Shelter he has learned to trust our volunteers and has come out of his shell greatly. It appeared that he had never been walked by lead/harness so he initially found this quite challenging but has now mastered the art and is happy to head off for his walks. He has shared his kennel with both a female and a male dog of similar size. A meet & greet will be essential for any future canine companions in his new home. We don’t know how he might get on with cats. He is on a soft food diet as he serious dental work carried out recently. He is best suited to an adult home and a trip to the groomer is on the cards. Pete has been neutered, is microchipped 981098106488328, has been vaccinated and has received the usual preventative flea/worm treatments. Pete is currently in the care of Kildare and West Wicklow SPCA The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.
