Pomelo Description Pomelo arrived at the shelter in Rösrath at the end of May. Soon we will be able to provide more information about him and take more pictures. Currently, the small male dog is still completely overwhelmed by his new situation. He shows great insecurity when it comes to people and prefers to avoid, create distance, or hide. If he feels cornered, he reacts halfheartedly out of fear and panic – not out of aggression, but because he currently doesn’t know any other way to deal with his insecurity. However, when Pomelo feels unobserved, he shows a different side. Then he runs curiously around the yard, explores his surroundings, and also seeks contact with the other dogs on leash. This animal has a history of biting.

Pomelo Beschreibung Pomelo ist Ende Mai gut auf dem Schutzhof in Rösrath angekommen. Bald können wir mehr über ihn berichten und weitere Bilder von ihm machen. Aktuell ist der kleine Rüde noch völlig von seiner neuen Situation überfordert. Menschen gegenüber zeigt er sich sehr unsicher und versucht lieber auszuweichen, Abstand zu schaffen oder sich zu verstecken. Fühlt er sich bedrängt, schnappt er aus reiner Angst und Panik halbherzig – nicht aus Aggression, sondern weil er momentan keinen anderen Weg kennt, mit seiner Unsicherheit umzugehen. Wenn Pomelo sich unbeobachtet fühlt, zeigt er jedoch bereits eine andere Seite. Dann läuft er neugierig über den Hof, erkundet seine Umgebung und sucht auch den Kontakt zu den anderen Hunden im Auslauf. Man merkt deutlich, dass in ihm ein interessier
