Pomelo Description Pomelo arrived at his foster home in Köln-Ostheim at the end of May. The sensitive male dog is still very reserved there and needs time to get used to new situations. Chaos and hectic are not his thing – he feels much more comfortable in a quiet environment. On the leash, Pomelo already walks quite well, provided the surroundings are relaxed and manageable. He takes treats carefully from the hand, and he also lets the fitting of his safety harness be done patiently. For himself, he has already found a quiet sleeping spot where he feels safe. There, he also allows himself to be stroked. He can be picked up, but he still doesn’t really enjoy this closeness and clearly shows that trust and security are still missing.

Pomelo Beschreibung Pomelo ist Ende Mai auf seiner Pflegestelle in Köln-Ostheim angekommen. Der sensible Rüde zeigt sich dort noch sehr zurückhaltend und braucht Zeit, um sich an neue Situationen zu gewöhnen. Trubel und Hektik sind nicht sein Ding – in einer ruhigen Umgebung fühlt er sich deutlich wohler. An der Leine läuft Pomelo bereits recht gut, sofern die Umgebung entspannt und überschaubar ist. Leckerchen nimmt er vorsichtig aus der Hand, und auch das Anlegen seines Sicherheitsgeschirrs lässt er geduldig zu. Für sich hat er bereits einen ruhigen Schlafplatz gefunden, an dem er sich sicher fühlt. Dort lässt er sich auch streicheln. Man kann ihn auf den Arm nehmen, allerdings genießt er diese Nähe noch nicht wirklich und zeigt deutlich, dass ihm Vertrauen und Sicherheit noch fehlen. Fü
