Here we have a wonderful little guy with a lovely charming personality and a bit of stubbornness. Lukas loves to walk, but at his own pace, and he likes to carefully investigate every footprint he finds. In the foster home he is both playful and fun. Morning cuddles are a favorite and he really enjoys lying close and being rubbed on his belly. He is smart and eager to train - he has become really good at slalom between cones, figure eights between legs and various search and activation games. Lukas likes to use his head and lights up when the reward appears. This guy finds handling very difficult as he is not used to it. He needs clear predictability in what will happen - we think that learning voluntary handling would be great for him. He has hip dysplasia and follows a simple rehab schedule for a few minutes each walk to stay strong and pain-free. Future home needs to continue engaging in this. We are looking for a safe and loving home where he gets both stimulation, closeness and a big understanding of his aversion to handling. He would thrive with someone who appreciates walking at a calm pace, enjoys training small tricks and giving him small mental challenges. He wants to be part of daily life, get attention and cuddles. With the right person or family who sees his needs, this guy will blossom into a fantastic and loyal little companion. Här har vi en underbar liten kille med en härligt charmig personlighet och en gnutta envishet. Lukas älskar att promenera, men då i sin egen takt, och han vill noggrant nosa igenom varje tassavtryck han hittar. I jourhemmet är han både gosig och lekfull. Morgongos är en favorit och han tycker mycket om att ligga nära och bli kliad på magen. Det är en smart och träningsglad hund – han har blivit riktigt duktig på slalom mellan koner, åttor mellan benen och olika sök och aktiveringslekar. Lukas gillar att använda huvudet och lyser upp när belöningen kommer fram. Denna kille tycker att hantering är mycket jobbigt då han inte är van vid det. Han behöver tydlig förutsägbarhet i vad som ska hända – att lära in frivillig hantering tror vi att han skulle tycka är toppen. Han har hötfledsdysplasi och följer idag ett enkelt rehabschema några minuter vare promenad för att hålla sig stark och smärtfri. Framtida hem behöver fortsätta att engagera sig i detta. Vi söker ett tryggt och kärleksfullt hem där han får både aktivering, närhet och en stor förståelse för hans ovana vid hantering. Han skulle trivas hos någon som uppskattar promenader i lugnt tempo, tycker det är roligt att träna små tricks och ge honom små mentala utmaningar.
