Rescues you can contact directly
Every shelter listed here has animals on TailHarbor right now. They range from large municipal pounds in Poland and Romania to small foster-network rescues operating out of a single person's home in Germany or the Netherlands. All of them publish their animals and handle adoption enquiries themselves.
TailHarbor does not sit between you and the shelter. When you find an animal you want to adopt, you reach out to that shelter directly, using the contact details on their page. Some have online application forms and others prefer email. The shelter decides the process, the home checks, and the adoption fee.
