The shelter is too stressful and noisy for me, so getting used to this environment was not easy. I started to get grumpy and really irritated, which is why most people would just walk past my kennel, without a second glance. ​In 2019, I went to a foster home just for a week, so they could see my behavior outside the shelter. The moment I was out of the shelter was like I could breath again! I remembered what it felt like to run and jump in the fields, without a care in the world. I remembered immediately how to behave at home, not to jump on the furniture, not to steal food, sleep in my own bed, not destroy stuff, not to bark when I'm alone - you know, the basics!​Even though the person fostering me was someone I didn't care about in the shelter, I decided she was part of my family from the moment she took me out.
